AIT Strengthens Technical Service Capabilities Through Continued Training and Development

BALL GROUND, Ga. — May 2026 — Advanced Innovative Technologies (AIT) is continuing to invest in its technical service capabilities as Austin Adams, Director of Operations and Head Service Technician, begins a local technical training program focused on heavy machinery repair and service.

Adams has already played a central role in AIT’s equipment service and technical support operations. The additional training is intended to build on that hands-on experience while expanding his technical knowledge through formal coursework and certification.

Supporting Equipment Beyond the Sale

For AIT, supplying manufacturing equipment has always involved more than delivering a machine. The company provides replacement parts, troubleshooting assistance, technical support, and service for the equipment it represents.

AIT supports equipment used throughout textile manufacturing, including heat transfer presses, fusing machines, laminating machines, and fabric inspection equipment.

As manufacturing equipment becomes more advanced, maintaining internal technical knowledge is increasingly important for helping customers keep their equipment operating and addressing problems when they occur.

Adams’ training program focuses on the repair and servicing of heavy machinery and will provide additional education in areas that complement his existing experience working with industrial equipment.

The decision to pursue formal technical certification reflects AIT’s continued focus on developing technical expertise internally rather than relying solely on outside resources when customers need assistance.

That expertise is particularly important to AIT’s long-standing relationships with equipment manufacturers Transmatic and Konsan. AIT provides equipment, replacement parts, service, and support for customers throughout the Americas and works directly with its manufacturing partners when additional technical resources are required.

AIT maintains access to replacement and wear components for the equipment it supports and works with customers to identify parts, troubleshoot equipment issues, and coordinate service when needed.

Having experienced technical personnel who understand both the equipment and the production environment also allows AIT to look beyond an individual component and better understand how an equipment issue may be affecting a customer’s overall operation.
